Armed Security T/A Butler Security, Inc. is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business located in Halethorpe Maryland capable of providing security services to the Federal Government and large corporations nationwide. We also provide armed/unarmed guard & Facilities Support services to Federal, State and local Government entities.  

The BUTLER TEAM was formed when Raymond J Butler retired from the Education and Training Division of the Baltimore City Police Department and decided to provide security services to commercial and government clients.   Raymond D. Butler (Son) was discharged from the United States Marine Corps, after a line of duty injury, and joined the company in 1988.  The company’s first large contract was with the McDonald’s Corporation providing security services to 23 stores in the MD/DC area.

The BUTLER TEAM’s uniquely qualified staff has extensive experience in Government Contracting and has the operational knowledge to effectively deliver to our client’s exceptional performance and service.  Our track record in exceeding expectations is a direct result of our growth into other sensitive areas of government where expectations of excellent performance are highly expected.  We follow strong core values that are instilled by our leaders and is committed to do what is expected from our clients and employees.
