Chaplain

EMPLOYEE RETENTION AND COMMUNITY SERVICE    

BSI recognizes the need to protect our most valuable asset, our employees. Therefore, BSI has a Chaplain on staff to assist with the retention, morale and personal issues of employees. We also realize that mental health is a viable part of the health and welfare of any company and we lend that support to all employees. Our Chaplain is always available to assist BSI employees should a need arise.

We are sensitive to the needs of the communities in which we work. Our Chaplain leads the mentoring and community give back programs which host events for the communities we serve and our employees. Our Chaplain has worked to develop a partnership with Sarah’s Hope a twenty four hour seven days a week shelter for families which is supported by St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore, Maryland. As partners with Sarah’s Hope we give diapers, baby wipes, and pull ups throughout the year for the children. We also participate with the feeding program by preparing bag lunches for Sarah’s Hope Family Shelter. In 2015 we prepared and served our first full course Thanksgiving Meal for the families at Sarah’s Hope. We are very excited about preparing and serving another delicious full course Thanksgiving meal this year. We also provide and give away Thanksgiving Meal Boxes as well as Christmas Gift Meal Boxes to those who are in need. We have partnerships with the Amateur Athletics Union (AAU) Youth Basketball, James Mosher Baseball, and the Maryland Food Bank. Our outreach efforts have become our most valuable tool for improving relationships and communication between management and employees. After all, success is dependent on our belief that everyone is important in our organization; no matter their position.

VETERAN OUTREACH AND RECRUITMENT

BSI prides itself on being a Service Disabled Veteran owned company which focuses on hiring the most talented individuals returning from military life.
